DIY Smoky Chipotle Hot Sauce & Southwest Vinaigrette

Smoky Chipotle Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2½ tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp sea salt

  • ⅔ cup apple cider vinegar

  • 2 honey packets (or more to taste)

Directions

Whisk all dry ingredients together. Slowly add the apple cider vinegar and mix until smooth. Stir in the honey, adjusting sweetness as desired. Let cool, then transfer to a bottle or jar. Refrigerate for up to 2–3 weeks.

Southwest Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • ½ tsp chili powder

  • ¼ tsp cumin

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp onion powder

  • ⅛ tsp sea salt

  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions

Combine the spices, then whisk in the olive oil and lemon juice until well blended. Shake before serving if the dressing separates.
